Nestled in the basement of the Blue Smoke restaurant, this swanky club serves the jazz-loving crowd all in a class of its own. Southern cooking is featured, courtesy of the upstairs restaurant - (give the Blue Smoke's original ale, or one of their 25 tequilas offered a try). This generously spacious spot gives you comfortable seats to lounge on, with excellent views of the stage, so you won't miss a note of the best jazz performers around! Jazz Standard opens Mondays through Wednesdays (11:30 AM - 11:00 PM), Thursdays and Fridays (11:30 AM - 1 AM), Saturdays (Noon - 1 AM), and Sundays (Noon - 11 PM).
Sundays are very special, so don't miss out. The Jazz Standard Orchestra (JSYO) plays, conducted by David O'Rourke. Instead of a cover fee, guests donate $5 which goes towards the Jazz Standard Discovery Program. Doors open at 1 PM, and lunch is available for both adults and kids.
